Allianz France runs three distribution networks: general agents, the Allianz Expertise et Conseil (AEC) salaried network, and the Patrimoine et Protection sociale expert agents. Together they generated €6.8bn in revenue in 2020 and €9bn at the end of 2025. The target is €11bn by 2029-2030. Growth of that order is a ramp-up problem: the same people, structured to produce more.
Allianz is answering it on several fronts at once: specialization of its agents, more agent partnerships, a “multi-access” lead engine, a denser territorial footprint, and AI as a copilot for its networks. Every one of those levers lands on the same place, the day-to-day working of commercial teams. Which is exactly what OpenDecide is deployed to raise.
Collective performance is the lever
In today’s economy, collective performance outweighs individual performance. A network does not scale by asking each adviser to run faster; it scales when a good practice discovered by one team gets adopted by every other team. OpenDecide is used to increase the effectiveness and performance of AEC’s working collectives, so that the commercial results follow.
Concretely, more effective collectives accelerate the things a growing network lives on: reproducibility of deals, speed of closing, exchange of best practices between agents, cross-functional collaboration and mutual support, customer satisfaction, and the time it takes a new agent to become fully competent. Each of those compounds into revenue.
Our three networks generated €6.8bn in revenue in 2020. We reach €9bn at the end of 2025 and we are targeting €11bn by 2029-2030.
Distribution networks revenue
General agents, AEC and expert agents, in billions of euros
OpenDecide runs on more than 200 teams and 2,300 team members across the organization, with the gains measured rather than assumed.
AI in the service of the agents
Allianz France has made AI the copilot of its distribution networks: Ask.me for underwriting questions, the Sales Digital Workstation CRM, AskPitch for tailored sales arguments, scoring to prioritize which clients to call back. OpenDecide’s AI works the same way, but on the organization itself: it serves AEC’s agents, helping their teams see how they actually operate and fix what holds them back.
The pattern Allianz observes with AI holds here too. The more the tools progress, the more the human collective becomes the differentiator. Scaling up a commercial organization is what turns “Plus fort demain” from a target into a trajectory.
